The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort

We stayed in the cabins and I will absolutely be back! The cabins are clean, nice, and spacious. My kids loved riding the golf cart around the property. The only bummer was the heated pool was not working so the water was freezing.

First time we stayed here and we loved the wooded setting. The cabin was immaculate and absolutely wonderful to stay in. We had a blast driving the rental golf cart around and exploring the grounds. The Hoop-De-Doo review was a blast and the staff was very attentive. Getting to the other resorts was a bit more difficult than usual but not overly burdensome. All the parks are easily accessible via the Disney bus system.

The best place to create memories. Whether you go with an RV or stay in one of the cabins, Fort Wilderness is a truly special experience. Taking the boat to the parks adds a magical touch to the trip, and being surrounded by nature in such a safe, well-organized environment makes all the difference. Time seems to slow down here. You disconnect from the rush and reconnect with what really matters — family, nature, and simple moments together. If you’re looking for more than just a hotel stay — if you want real connection and lasting memories — this is the place.

The cabins are clean but very small. The bedroom with a queen bed is almost against the wall. The mattress was so,lumpy we had to request and received a new mattress. The problem was they gave us the new mattress and left clean sheets for us to make the bed. You only get housekeeping every 4 days the rest of the time they provide you with a vacuum and broom for you to clean. At $750 a night I expect better service. The internet is almost non existent. The shower has no water pressure. We had a small cement parking area for the car and golf cart and due to rain mud all around it. Had to plug in the cart at night and couldn’t see the outlet because there was no lightning on the end of the cabin. Kitchen was nice and fully equipped. The cabin was not what I expected for the money

The new cabins are so nice! There seems to be more room in the main bedroom and the Murphy bed is much more comfortable than the old pullout. There are plenty of kitchen equipment to cook full meals. Cloth storing could be challenging of you have more than four people for 5+ days, but the laundry mats are now free. So pack.lighy and plan to do laundry if needed. Pro tip- rent a golf cart! It makes getting around much easier. Our dogs loved their stay as usual!
