The Cabins at Capitol Reef

The Cabins at Capitol Reef was hands-down our favorite place we stayed while traveling Utah’s Mighty 5 with friends. From the moment we arrived, it felt peaceful, welcoming, and perfectly located for exploring Capitol Reef National Park. The cabins were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed the perfect mix of cozy and modern after long days of hiking and exploring. Sitting outside in the evening, surrounded by red rock cliffs and wide-open skies, was one of those “this is why we travel” moments. Everything about the stay was easy and relaxing. It truly felt like a retreat after busy park days, and the setting couldn’t be more beautiful. If you're visiting Capitol Reef, this is the place to stay. We would absolutely come back.

This place is AMAZING! I went for a birthday weekend and we had the best time! I couldn't have asked for a comfier, cozier, and also more fun place to have a trip with my friends. I saw some of the prettiest stars I have ever seen while in the hot tub. The windows were one of my favorite parts. There was incredible scenery everywhere!

We stayed in the cabins near Capitol Reef for a couple of days and absolutely loved it. The cabins were amazing—comfortable, peaceful, and the perfect home base for exploring the area. Even this time of year, the weather was great and made everything feel extra enjoyable. The whole place had such a chill, laid-back vibe that made it easy to relax and really soak in the experience. We’d definitely stay here again.

This cabin was absolutely stunning. From the moment we arrived, everything felt luxurious and thoughtfully designed. The private jacuzzi was the perfect touch for relaxing, especially while taking in the breathtaking views. Waking up to scenery like this felt unreal peaceful, beautiful, and truly unforgettable. It was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to come back.

This is my third year staying at The Cabin’s at Capitol Reef and I have loved it every year! The location cannot be beat, it is quiet and peaceful with stunning views from every angle but close enough to local attractions. We typically stay in The Juniper Cabin and we love beautiful green cabinets against the wood frame. One of the things we have enjoyed the most is the consistency with cleanliness and maintenance. Every time we have visited we are so impressed with how clean the space is. You can tell the owners put their love and personality into each cabin.The outdoor experiences are some of the best in Utah, but nothing beats coming back to a spotless cabin or stargazing in the hot tub after a long day. Staying at The Cabin’s at Capital Reef has become a tradition we count down to ever
