The Burney Motel

Well wow!! These rooms were crazy spacious. We were traveling with kids so this was a major plus! But they were clean and it was quiet and just wow! We loved it. We’ve been traveling for 2 weeks this is top 2 of the places we’ve stayed at from state to state. Wish we stayed longer and the staff were so friendly. We are so appreciative of the service we received. If you are passing through this is the place to stay!

My wife and I stayed at the Burney Motel in July, 2024.||We weren't quite sure what to expect, as we could tell it was a small, independent hotel, and honestly it exceeded our expectations!||First off, when we checked in, we were told we were upgraded to a bigger room because they had to move some other guests to other rooms. So we ended up in room 1, a room with three beds in it, a full kitchen, and a beautiful, large bathroom! So we were quite impressed with how spacious the room was. And the WiFi worked great for us.||I saw other reviews indicating there were snacks and breakfast items located in the office, but there weren't any there when we went in the morning. Very nice motel. Fresh clean sheets and good mattress with nice quilt. Clean floors and bath room. Good size room with fully working amenities. Good TV, WIFI and cell services.

We had a party of 4. I looked for rooms with double beds beds in the area. All only had 1 bed availability. Mt Shasta had a double bed room available for $110, it would be an extra 40 mi drive. If we got just 1 bed we'd need to air up an air mattress for the other pair. We agreed that was better than the drive. When we arrived at around 10pm, a nice gentleman was at the desk. He couldn't find my reservation, & called the manager. Though the room the system had for availability was already given, he put us in another. I was just glad he still had a room! We got to the room, opened it, & it had another room with another bed in it as well. Seemed like a nice surprise. Until the next morning. Very well greeted, very nice people & very very helpful with the area, room was really sweet & clean, also a rare spot accepting dogs w/out question, close to the falls & other sites to see & do..also park outside your door..
