Burney Falls Lodging

I’d give my stay at Burney Falls Lodging a full 5 stars. I accidentally locked myself out of my room in the middle of the night after the office had closed, and the staff still had it resolved within 15 minutes—impressive service! The room itself is cozy and thoughtfully decorated, with everything spotless. I was pleasantly surprised to find a small kitchen setup, perfect for simple meals, using the microwave, or washing fruit. For the price, the value is unbeatable—I’d choose this place over any other motel in the area.

We stayed in early October for a few days. Rooms are clean and surrounding area is nice. We were booked for 3 nights, and decided on day 1 that we might leave a day early. I asked girl at front desk if I could cancel last night. She said, "yes, you are within the 24 hour cancel policy window, but you'll have to come in tomorrow to get the credit from my manager". I came in the next day, and the manager said that girl was new, and that there were no refunds. Said she'd talk to her manager, but "don't expect anything". I asked her to call me either way... She didn't, and no refund. We ended up having to double pay for hotel that night. I won't stay here again.

The man running the front desk on the weekends is OUTSTANDING to deal with, which makes staying at an already great set of motels that much more enjoyable! Clean, comfortable, affordable, and genuinely enjoyable. Will definitely stay again!!!!

I have stayed at this motel four times in 12 months, and the first three stays were fine and tipped the motel cleaning staff over $100.00 . This last stay was quite the apposite, they put me in a room under the steel staircase witch is extremely Noisy from the other people going up and down all night. I had requested my old room that I had stayed in before, and I maid my reservations days ahead of my stay, but was put in this other room instead. I have two dogs and go to Burney for the great fishing and swimming in fresh water for my Labradors, my point being that after a long day enjoying the outdoors, I am tiered and look forward to a peaceful nights sleep, that didn't happen. I moved back to my old room for the last two nights, and once again they put a family of loud CALIFORNIANS above

Stayed in "Charm" wing, where parking is plentiful and rooms are a good size. Bathrooms also a good size. Front desk agent very pleasant and professional. Room very clean and in good working order. Plenty of soft towels. Good cable, free wi-fi, fridge, microwave, AC/heat good. A pleasant surprise were all the "extras" offered, such as free Continental breakfast, coffee, tea and hot cocoa free all day, propane BBQs readily available. Really great!
