The Bunk House

Just got back from The Bunk House in Beaufort, NC, and wow! it did not disappoint! The newly renovated place is top-notch, and we loved hanging out by the fireplace (we even brought our own wood—bonus points!). Super cozy, super relaxing, and honestly such an affordable getaway. If you’re in the area and need a chill spot to unwind, we highly recommend checking it out! 🔥🏡✨

The Bunk House is a charming place to stay while visiting Beaufort, NC. and the surrounding area. We stayed in The Gibbs Room which is beautifully decorated. Each room at The Bunk House represents a historic home or place in Beaufort. The location is only a mile away from historic downtown Beaufort. The Gibbs Room is incredibly clean and the grounds are well maintained. There is a fire pit and gas grill and a large grassy area. Shawn, the host is very responsive. The reservation, check in and check out process was simple and straight forward. It is easy to find and reasonably priced. Fantastic place to stay in Beaufort!!

The Bunk House is the perfect place to stay in Beaufort! It's very close and convenient to everything from restaurants and shops, to the Beach. The room was super cute with a very nice bathroom/shower, and comfortable bed! Plus, the room we stayed in was dog friendly, so could bring my puppers! Will definitely be coming back to The Bunk House for my next visit!

We had a wonderful getaway with friends to The Bunk House! Such a beautiful place with thoughtful attention to detail. We loved how the owners preserved so much of the original character and connected to Beaufort through the stories and naming of each room. We stayed in the Queen Room, and it was the perfect size and fit for three couples. The location is convenient to both Morehead City and downtown Beaufort… we’ll definitely be back!

Just spent the most magical night at The Bunk house! It is perfectly located in Beaufort and 5 mins from downtown MHC. We had our bikes and could easily zip around and bike over to the Beaufort Music Festival. The layout of our room was perfect and the renovation was TOP NOTCH. Each room is beautifully designed and decorated. The bed was VERY comfortable and everything is immaculate. Can’t wait to have our out of town folks spend the weekend here as an “overflow” to our home. 10/5 stars
