Down East RV Resort

At my stay at Downeast RV, I experienced a multitude of issues. For one they were piling up sand and dirt and big piles. You could not get your car in much less than RV in there. Needless to say there is no grass for any animals to be able to use hence it’s all sand. That makes for upkeep inside the RV, very hard, especially with animals. Since they let go of the former property manager, Kaitlyn things have seemed to have gone downhill. A lot of people have moved their RVs offsite. One RV actually sunk into the ground because of how soft the ground is in that watershed area. When it rains the whole area floods. King tide washes away the roads and your left with sand and mud. Downeast RV Resort has been an absolute gem! It’s affordable, quiet, and pet-friendly — exactly what I was looking for. The location is perfect, just a short drive from my job in Atlantic Beach. The owners and management have been nothing but friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating since day one. You can tell they truly care about their residents. I’m happy to call this place home and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful place to stay.

We came to share some time with our daughter and her children and the grandchildren. Our trip was on a short notice with the RV but we found accommodations here. The price was very reasonable. The on-sight property manager, Katelyn, was extremely helpful in every facet of our stay, from parking the RV, setting up, and prepping to leave. The park itself was a pleasurable place to stay. It was very quiet and peaceful. We will be returning to Down East RV Park again!

My husband, Nelson and I, have had the privilege of watching the creation of the Down East RV Resort. The facilities are perfectly positioned for endless and amazing recreational experiences. The Resort is close to several boat ramps for easy launching and access to various water bodies. Besides being a base for great fishing adventures, you are within a short distance of serene beaches if you just want to put your feet in the sand! If you want to experience the beauty of Carteret County from the convenience of your own travel trailer, the Down East RV Resort is an awesome place to call your coastal home.

Really cute RV resort, beautifully done, they have a great pavilion for events or just to have a nice dinner outside the camper. It's also in a great location with easy access to major highways & the beach.
