The Bookhouse at Faunbrook

The BOOKHOUSE hotel at Faunbrook is number one an amazing house, beautifully decorated. We stayed in the "Jane "room and it was the most beautiful shade of pink. We loved exploring all the different things in the house, reading in our own bedroom, but also in front of the fireplace in the living space. We enjoyed sitting at the little bar, having a cup of coffee and a muffin that was provided for us, and Stephanie was a joy to meet and speak with! We can't wait to visit all the other rooms in the near future. Do yourself a favor and stay for a night or maybe two and cuddle up with your favorite book.💗 Grateful for this cozy place my daughter and I can share together.

Such a lovely little place to reset!! Hubby and I stayed for a long kid-free weekend and it was absolutely wonderful! Comfortable bed and nice hot shower. The books of course were fabulous and I enjoyed a couple during our visit. This place is also extremely close and walkable to downtown, full of restaurants, coffee shops, stores, etc! Including a brand new bookstore. It truly was a relaxing weekend and I would definitely recommend to others as well as visit again myself!

I had a lovely stay at The Bookhouse Hotel!!! I wanted to do a solo trip for so long and as an introverted book lover this was the perfect place to come for a first timer. The room and ambiance was so cozy and well thought out with all the little details and amenities. The bed was so comfortable and Kennett Square is the cutest little walkable town. The staff checked in daily to make sure all my needs were met and was very responsive. Will definitely be back!

This place is gorgeous! I took my daughter (8) on a girls night here. We stayed in the Alice suite. We were both amazed by the beautiful details in the room. She absolutely loved the little reading nook! The room was huge, with a separate sitting room with desks. The common rooms are beautiful and we loved the secret Photo Booth room. We enjoyed delicious pastries in the morning. Stephanie was very responsive- it was a bit cold when we arrived so I texted her to ask about the thermostat. She replied within minutes. Just an absolutely lovely experience. We plan to come back and try another room!

Me and my partner had an amazing stay. We stayed in the Alice room and it was beautifully decorated. My partner is a book lover and it was her birthday, so she was blown away. The location is fantastic, the room was cozy, and the hotel itself was a dream. We had such a great time. Plus, Stephanie was amazing! She communicated very quickly and we even got to meet her on the way out! She was super sweet and we cannot wait to come back in November.
