Hotel Indigo West Chester - Downtown by IHG

Pretty nice place to stay, located right in the heart of Downtown West Chester. Was there for a single rainy night, but ate a pretty good dinner a few steps away at the Sedona Taproom before a nightcap at the "speakeasy" in the basement... which was actually a pretty fun place to hang out, even if I'm automatically a little cynical and skeptical of fake speakeasies. Had kind of a rec-room vibe, in a good way. Great place from which to launch my morning run around downtown, explore a bit... Room was totally adequate, no real strong feelings one way or another except to say it was all clean and nice. Comfortable bed. Would stay there again.

We had a great one-night stay over restaurant weekend. The rooms were very clean, nice decor, good quality soaps and shampoos, plush bedding, we noticed the extra soft bathroom tissues, too. Parking was in a secure garage next door at a very good price. The staff were professional and friendly. Excellent housekeeping with no harsh chemical smells and everything was sparkling clean. Front desk staff were always smiling and helpful, attentive. The restaurant and bar were excellent. It did get very noisy late at night with people coming in from the bars. Because there is tile floor in the entry ways to each room, we could hear boots and heels clopping above and beside us, and we could hear the details of conversations through the walls like they were in the room with us. Chose this hotel to attend the Performing Arts Center event which was basically around the corner. Located smack in the middle of Downtown with everything we wanted to do within walking distance. Parking was steps away inside a nice 6 level well lit garage 2nd floor (Hotel Indigo signs) for $10/day and validated by the hotel front desk for in/out privileges. Check in/Check out was made smooth by Ms. Clarifer. She always has a smile and courteous attitude when passing through the lobby. The hotel reached out to us prior to arrival to make sure our room was ready prior to our estimated arrival (amazing) and it was. Appreciate the hotel text followups by Ms. Clarifer and Mr. Josh. Even though I didn’t stay at the hotel, my girlfriend and I have visited the speakeasy at Hotel Indigo (Room 109) many, many times — especially for their different holiday-themed events — and it’s become one of our favorite spots. Room 109 is such an awesome, cozy speakeasy with a really intimate vibe. The atmosphere feels tucked away and special, which makes every visit feel like a little experience instead of just grabbing drinks somewhere. The cocktails are exceptional — creative, well-balanced, and consistently made perfectly. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the drinks and the themes for each event. Every time we’ve gone, it’s been a great night. If you’re looking for a unique date night spot or a fun themed event with incredible drinks, this place absolutely delivers.

The customer service at hotel indigo is excellent. The Ladies working check in and the cafe on Sunday morning, 3.1, went beyond help. My son and I dropped a glass juice bottle in the lobby. The staff immediately jumped in to help clear the glass and spillage. They also grabbed my personal items and cleared as much juice off of those things too. I wish I had their names..Angie and Alanis were the 2 names I caught but the check in manager jumped in to help as well! Great experience. Beautiful rooms. Delicious restaurant food. Parking right next door. Downtown location perfect for walkability. We will return.
