The Betsy Hotel

Back in cold NY but still basking in the warmth of being at The Betsy. Our fourth stay and as always better with each visit. George and Josiemer at the front desk took care of us from check-in to check-out. They anticipated our every need and provided incredible service. They made us feel part of the Betsy family. Wherever we turned there was utmost attention. It was wonderful to be remembered by Fritz. His warm smile greeted us each morning, his watchful eye made sure we had all we needed at our fingertips. Evers, Mark and Ansel made every move easy and delightful. Our room was perfect, lighting, linens, toiletries, TWO magnifying mirrors and a perfect collection of books for bedtime reading. It's home away from home. We're already dreaming of our return!

My husband and I stopped In for a drink at the bar and the Bartenders were so so nice. We were dressed casual and felt out of place but they reassured us it was completely fine. So friendly and outgoing and told us the history of the hotel and to walk around and explore the library and pool top and orb. We did walk around. We came back the next day for a margarita and Mule and again the staff were great. We even got to pet Betsy the Golden Retriever who was sleeping in the bar area. Highly recommend for a drink.

Positive: Super professional and personable staff. Made me feel like I was arriving at their house not their hotel. Food was exceptional , it’s waterfront in ocean drive so no need to go anywhere else. Super attentive Concierge , allStaff interactions amazing! Negative: It was perfect.

The Betsy is a lovely, well located gem just a little bit outside of the craziness of Ocean Drive. The room was beautifully appointed, the decor in the common areas was funky and cool, and the service was exceptional (especially Juan, Mark, Cecilia, and George). Access to the beach was easy and the hotel provided towel towels, beach chairs, and an umbrella. I had breakfast there and dinner at their affiliated pizzeria, and both meals were outstanding.|Rating it four instead of five stars because the fitness center was in need of updating (2/3 of the bikes were broken) and it would’ve been nice to have some drink service on the beach. That said, would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend it if you are looking for a unique South Beach stay in a more intimate setting.

Had wonderful lunch on Monday on the patio. Had fish tacos 🌮 very nice and my friend had poke bowl. Our server was ms Barbara she is very sweet lady and service was impeccable! Even tho it was super busy she was very attentive. Thank you for such a nice time
