The Apex Miami

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the staff. Quick easy check in. Our room was so clean as expected from everything we read and saw online. The pool is so relaxing. Location is perfect. Rual at the front desk goes over and beyond his role. So friendly and helpful with suggestions on places to go and anything we needed. I was celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday and he made me feel so comfortable with all his suggestions. We will be returning here again thanks to Rual amazing hospitality.

Pros: pool, room was decent. Restaurant next door was classy and they decorated the shared outdoor space. Cons: no clear entrance. Apex isn’t even listed on the wall behind the front desk. Poor shower water pressure, breakfast included k-cup offee, granola bars and oranges. Most importantly, the checkin procedure included handing me an iPad to enter credit card info, date of birth and other personal information. It felt sketchy and like I was being scammed. I’ve traveled the world and never have I experienced that at a hotel.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it has got better each time. The rooms are immaculate and the staff are so helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend and will definitely come again when staying in Miami. Close to the shops and restaurants and the beach x

When you were thinking of a place to stay in South Beach on an affordable budget.. think about the Apex ..the room is big and spacious.. It’s also a good 15 minute walk from the beach. Or a 5 min uber .whatever you prefer . You are currently surrounded by shopping , the top restaurants and a lot of stuff to see … also can’t forget about the staff at the desk, there are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again !

Great place to just hop in/out of if you’re exploring Miami - small rooms but they make great use of the space and had almost everything we needed. Things to note though: the rooms are HOT and there’s no ice maker - not deal breakers by any means, but still good to know. The pool is super cute and a perfect place to relax in between bar hopping.
