The Anaheim Hotel

A friend recommended this pla e knowing I like mid century modern design. Location: The location is great if you're going to Disneyland (right across the street) or in that area. Service: The service we had was good and everyone was polite. Room: The room (116) was adequate. The bathroom was a bit worn and the ac was so close to the 2nd bed that you couldn't feel it. The enclosed patio was nice for privacy. Other: The kitchen is open until midnight. There are hammocks to recline on and a large outdoor chess set to play. Pool looked nice but we didn't use it, will try next visit. I saw in reviews that some people saw roaches, ewwww, I'd freak too! but having lived in this area years ago I know that they seem to be everywhere. This may have been one of my favorite stays while attending Disneyland. I love the theming of this hotel, the friendly staff, the parking, it's airy feel, retro decor, food options, drinks, and the proximity to Disneyland. I especially loved how many channels are available on the television. It was a treat to watch t.v. The bathroom was a little small though. You have to step to the side to close the door. I also really enjoyed the food options and the "top golf" option here for when you are not attending the park. My room was all the way in the back of the hotel, in the 300 building, which was a bit of a walk, but it provided a nice quiet and relaxing experience, even with so much fun things happening here during the day. Positive: ONLY the Location, nothing else!! Negative: The front desk was not very friendly, just neutral. The hotel is old and nothing related with the media advertising. I found belongings from the previous guest in the room, and refrigerator. The shower tub was plugged, and no hot water running.

Great hotel around 5 mins walk from disneyland entrance, 10 mins to downtown Disney! Love the grounds and midcentury modern aesthetic. Service has been fantastic as well. It does feel safe and secure, only able to enter the property through the lobby. Beds are very comfy! Only complaints are the bathrooms need a good renovation/updating. Also, walls/doors are very thin. You can hear people going down hallways or kids playing in the courtyard easily. Also upstairs people. Oddly enough, no microwave in room but there is located in the giftshop whcih is odd. I would stay here simply for the location and price!

Location is unbeatable for park visits. The vibe is amazing. There is an onsite lounge and restaurant with friendly and fun staff, beautifully landscaped grounds and a great pool. Usually stay for easy access to the parks but visiting this time to just rest and enjoy the hotel. Shout out to Leslie at the front desk who is always awesome and went above and beyond to help this visit.
