Anaheim Discovery Inn & Suites At The Park

The motel is in a great location walking-distance to Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center. The room rates are very reasonable. Rooms are a bit dated but are clean. The room I was in lacked weather stripping around the door so you could out around the edges and there was a big gap at the bottom of the door so that was a little off-putting. My friend’s room was better. The location is safe and quiet. The desk staff were very helpful but the office hours were a bit limited. I think it was well worth the money and would stay there again.

The rooms are clean. The bed is on the firmer side, which only bothers me, my family sleeps fine. The hotel is older and has a lot of “character”. There are signs of wear inside and out, but it is clean. The parking area is small, but as long as you can park , I see no problem with it. There is one ice machine at the front of the property. It would be nice to have one for upstairs guests, so that we don’t have to go up and down repeatedly. The water pressure is good and the shower gets nice and hot. Our sheets and top blanket had holes, it looked like someone may have burned it. I would suggest that the linen be checked, mostly because that can be a turn off to many guests. We didn’t mind, we only stayed one night. This is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel. The staff is friendly.

Positive: Not a bad walk to disney. Negative: There was a half marathon going on for disney. The road out of hotel was blocked in the morning and could not leave till around 1030am. We had plans in the morning but could not go. Wish the hotel would have given us a notice.

What a great find! The price was way lower than any hotel near Disneyland so I was a bit concerned. I was very impressed with what we paid for when we arrived! First of all the lady at the front desk was so sweet. The property is small and the parking is free and it feels very secure so that's a bonus in itself. We got a room with a king bed thatwas super comfy with nice pillows and a comforter. The bathroom was very clean and smelled like bleach as soon as we walked in. It is convenient for the location, Disneyland and Downtown Disney are literally less than half a mile away. There's a place called Finney's less than a block away which has excellent beer and high quality pub food . There is also a Denny's, where you get a 15% discount if you show them your key card.
