The Alluvian

The hotel is in a super cool location downtown and the lobby and whole vibe of the hotel is beautiful. The restaurant downstairs is great. The rooms are just average in my opinion. The beds are not very comfortable and the room just looks normal. The bright spot would be the bathroom. The bathroom is nice and the shower is above average for sure. I've stayed here multiple times and will do so again due to it's location. Solid hotel for sure with big "old school" vibes.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Howard Street in downtown area. Simple luxury with one of the most polite and welcoming staff I’ve ever encountered! Property is clean, rooms are spacious and clean. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Parking can be tricky and there’s a lack of during busy times and holidays. The welcome gift is the room was thoughtful and local. I felt very comfortable and safe. Breakfast buffet was very good. Not a lot of seating in breakfast area and was lucky weather nice enough to sit outside on the covered balcony.

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway. Everything was very clean, easy to get to, and the rooms were quiet. Breakfast was great as well. Would definitely stay again!

I’ve stayed at The Alluvian before and had an excellent experience, which is why I’m sharing this feedback in hopes it helps the hotel and future guests. On a previous visit, I stayed in Room 408 (king bed suite), and it was truly lovely: comfortable, quiet, and exactly what you expect from this property. This time, I stayed in Room 402 (queen bed). The room itself was perfectly fine, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable, resulting in an abysmal night’s sleep. The bedding setup was problematic. The bottom flat sheet was not large enough to stay tucked in, and the layering included a sheet, comforter, and an additional sheet on top, all of which shifted throughout the night. More importantly, the mattress pad did not fit the bed and only covered part of the mattress. It was lumpy and

We only needed this hotel as a quick stopover and weren’t expecting much. It’s great! ||Spacious room and bathroom, very clean, for a good price. The bar area was nice, with music. The restaurant was also lovely and we had a great meal. ||Parking is available at no cost on the street outside the hotel. ||I’d happily return here.
