Holiday Inn Express & Suites Greenwood by IHG

I went to Mississippi for a funeral and chose this hotel I should have known that this was not going to be a good experience from the first encounter. The GM tried to authorize a payment from my card for the room before I got there, which check in was at 3pm got the call at like 2:15pm, mind you I reserved two room first encounter, second encounter the second room had lady bugs crawling on the walls and did not notice the bugs until leaving for the funeral made the hotel aware and the one of the staffs did not care and responded " okay they are Lady bugs, it is that time of year. " called customer service they did reach out to the staff and they went into the room to vacuum the bugs out, but when got back to the room there were more lady bugs seen than the ones seen before leaving for the

Not very clean. Nothing works. Breakfast is nice. Gym is clean. Employees are kind but you will feel gross after leaving. The employees try hard but it’s dirty,roaches and old and outdated.

Terrible experience with the assistant manager and manger, Trina. Since August I have been in contact with the manager of the hotel since August. I have records of our text exchanges and phone call log receipts. On one day, I called the hotel about eight times in a row - no answer - not even voicemail. I have the phone records for that. My husband left his belt; called back to hotel; they found it; put it up for him but when he went to pick it up it was gone. No one could find it. He was told that they would find it and send it to him. We never heard back from neither the assistant manager of manger. So I called. Got the manager's phone number. She has provided me with personal excuse after personal excuse. I kindly asked her that since she was dealing with so many personal issues to assi

Our evening clerk named Errison was awesome. Friendly and efficient. Great hotel chain. Stayed at Westbend, MO, Selma, AL and now Greenwood, Ms on our 10 day vacation.

The room was neat, clean, and the lighting could be reached from any side of the room. The queen bed and pillows were so comfortable. The clothes closet was roomy and had extra hangers. I really enjoyed the keurie coffee maker being in the room. The bathroom had shampoo/conditioner, soft hand soap, and body wash. There are plenty of USB plugs throughout the room. There are two chairs in the room too.
