SureStay by Best Western Leesville

My dad is a 71-year-old U.S. veteran, and my mom is 60 and on dialysis. During the recent ice storm, their electricity went out, and their home temperature dropped to 17°F. They went to this hotel seeking a room for safety, but the staff member who assisted them was arrogant, dismissive, and rude, and she made my dad feel unwelcome. He also felt that their ethnicity — we are Mexican American — played a role in how they were treated. Denying accommodation to a veteran and a person with serious medical needs during dangerous winter conditions is completely unacceptable. Other guests should be aware that discriminatory behavior and rude, disrespectful staff may occur here. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who expects basic respect, fairness, and compassion.

Looking at online reviews this is apparently the best hotel rated hotel in the area. Room was decently clean. Some minor stains on the couches and floors. Pool was a bit green looking. Overall a decent place to stay. Room had a fridge freezer combo and microwave. Also hotel right across from Toups kitchen which is a big plus walked over for dinner.

Stayed a week with these folks while visiting family in the area. This is one of the better places to stay in Leesville (and I've stayed in a few). Everything was clean, drains ran fine/good water pressure and comfortable. When I was there, there were Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) crews posted-up there, but they parked their bigger trucks and tractors in the back of the facility. Plenty of standard parking in front of my room. Modest breakfast was good, and they had plenty of good old Community Coffee in the morning. Staff super-friendly and helpful, and I'll stay again.

Clean rooms,hot showers,friendly staff and most of all a good ac you need that in Louisiana even in Jan. Enjoyed my 2 nights. O and they have a breakfast
