SureStay by Best Western Bowling Green North

Hotel was nice and clean, staff were friendly. Check-in & check-out was easy and quick. Plenty of parking available. The grounds could've used a little bit of landscaping, but we were out and about most of the time. Located across the street from the National Corvette Museum which was cool to visit. Convenient location; it was a short 5-10 minute drive from lots of local shops and good restaurants in Bowling Green. Around 30 minute drive from Mammoth Cave National Park. We had a great stay at an unbeatable value!

Positive: "" Negative: Room was not in good repair. Many dents in the walls, poor repair to wall corner, towel rack in bathroom had been pulled off and poorly reattached. Bed mattress had a sag to one side. Bathroom was very small, the door barely cleared the toilet.

Thought I could count on a Best Western franchise for 1 night short stay. Boy, was I wrong. This place is filthy. The dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in and I regret not leaving immediately, but I was exhausted. ||Before the door to my room was even opened I should have known because it was filthy and barely working. The carpets were covered in stains, the air-conditioner stunk to high heaven. The bathroom sink was falling apart, a big bug on floor I had to kill. ||Then morning comes, thought I could take a quick shower and be safe (after sleeping fully clothed on top of bed) but no. Not even the tub was decent I had murky water up above my ankles. (see photos) Got out as quickly as I could and thought maybe I could grab something for the long drive ahead of me at the "breakfast". ||Oh b

Drove 14 hours last night and we were exhausted. SureStay was affordable, pet friendly, and most importantly clean and comfortable! Mattresses seemed brand new. Big patch of grass for dogs to walk around and do their business. Right off the freeway so it was easy to hop back on. Perfect spot to stop before we finish driving home. Will be back!!

I was traveling home with my dogs. They were wonderful to me. I will be back on my next trip. Hope the lady liked her tip left in the room. Thank you for a wonderful night.
