Best Western Plus Bowling Green

The room was ok. Beware if you travel with a dog (mine 5 lbs). The pet upcharge was 30.00 which equals a 30% “penalty”. Also only certain rooms allow pets. Our room smelled of dogs when we opened the door. Not overwhelming but you could tell. Cleaning inadequate or cleaning products not used enough. We were disappointed when the room for 1 night plus pet fee was 140.00. Will not be returning to this franchise. Have paid 10.00 pet fee at other locations.

The desk clerk was really nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The beds were worn but comfortable and clean. The bathroom tub and toilet were clean but the floor was disgustingly dirty. I took a wet washcloth and wiped it and the cloth was black. The room hadn’t been vacuumed either. Maybe they just missed it because the rest of the room was decent. It’s an old hotel, worn furniture and the shower handle didn’t work. But it was cheap for a quick stay

This location does not care about providing a room with the basic amenities. We traveled 500+ miles in a moving van and checked in around 8pm, exhausted and ready for rest. My partner got in the shower and immediately asked for help. The shower curtain was loose from both sides of wall and it was apparent that it had been patched numerous times. The extension that is supposed to give you more room in the shower actually was U shaped and the shower curtain kept sliding to the middle so water from shower was pooling in bathroom. I decided not to shower due to situation and we reported it to front desk the next morning along with pictures. In contacting hotel manager later when we had time (deadlines to return moving van and fly home) he chose not to call me or offer any type of refunds

Positive: Absolutely nothing! Will never stay here again or any Best Western or Properties owned by Zen Hospitality or Parjanya Nikhil Jariwala. Negative: Woke up at 4 am with filthy water pouring through the ceiling into my face from the room above me. Gave me another room and I showered and left. They refuse to issue a refund.

The location is great but the hotel is outdated and gross. Mold on ceilings and hair on toilet, looks like they never vacuum or dust. I went to the front desk and said I wanted a refund because I have children and we’re not staying in a hotel with mold. They were very accommodating and gave us refund but I wish more people had put bad reviews for this hotel, as I wouldn’t have picked it if I would’ve known. So here is your warning, do not stay here!
