Super 8 by Wyndham Yuma

I've stayed at many budget hotels for my work, but this is one of the best I've stayed at. I believe the hotel must have had a recent renovation, because the room didn't have the usual rundown look of most cheap hotels. There were no scuff marks on the walls, and the bathroom was spotless. The sink and shower head appeared to be new, as well as all the furniture. The beds were comfortable and the sheets clean. The only thing that wasn't great was the internet speed, which was only 20 Mbps up and down. Enough to stream a video, but not good enough to do a lot of work on. For the $70/night I paid, it really was unbeatable, though. Overall, when I'm next in Yuma, I will stay here again.

Nice staff during check in. Our NS room smelled smokey. 2nd room had broken shower wand. Laundry was dirty with so and dryer sheets on floor. I cleaned the laundry room before I would use it. Outside had many overflowing garbage cans. No outside maintenance at all. |It doesn't cost money to be clean....

Positive: Coffee, tea and ice water are always available in the lobby. Negative: The jacuzzi is broken. The walls and or connecting door were so thin people talking in the next room kept me up past 1 am. Also no housekeeping was provided on the 2nd day.

Update: Shout out to Omar, the GM here for looking into this and calling me. He explained what happened and offered to give us our paid night next time we come through. Still not sure why no cars in parking lot but next time we stay, we will call ahead. Customer service is not dead!! Thanks Omar! We booked a room on a booking site. We have stayed here a few times traveling through. We've always been able to get a parking lot view to see our truck and contents. We know they have lots of these rooms. When we checked in we mentioned what we'd like to have and the clerk gave us a room key. Nope, inside room! Mind you, this was a Tuesday and parking lot maybe half full at best. The girl at the check-in counter said they were booked. We decided to for-go our cost and find another hotel

The staff were very friendly and did a great and fast job checking us in and out. The room could use some updating but it was at a great rate. The only 2 complaints was that the spigot in the shower was hard to turn on and the remote control was user unfriendly. It was hard to find the guide and once you did find it there was no up, down , left or right scrolling arrows.
