Super 8 by Wyndham Tulsa/Route 66

This Super 8 location will surprise you!! Back in the day, 20 years ago this was not the best area but with the Route 66 revamp they have done in the Tulsa and surrounding areas, it is now a quiet safe place surrounded by restaurants and stores. Its conveniently located right off the main highway and just a few minutes from downtown etc. The local police routinely patrol the parking lot and surrounding businesses and this hotel never has any riff-raff or questionable characters hanging around unlike others ive stayed at. Its mostly traveling workers from what I've seen. The staff are AMAZING. Coral and Richatd are A+ top notch assets to this hotel!! I booked/paid through hotels.com and upon arrival the rude front desk worker tried making me pay again. I told him no and explained again that it had already been paid. He rudely said fine and gave me a dirty room. I took pic/video and then asked for another room. The workers response was like “oh my bad, here’s another room.” He gave me a smoking room with ash trays and nasty layer of grime on everything. Disgusting rooms, unprofessional service. Do not waste your time at this hotel.

The rooms were disgusting and having visible white stains on the top sheet as well as towels having brown stains and smelled so we did not shower. The toilet had visible butt dirt marks. As well as there being sticky stuff on the floor upon entering.The only good thing was the heater in the bedroom and the TV. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you have a semi due to really tight turns to enter and not a lot of parking. The receptionists were very nice tho.

The hotel was easy to find. The premises and building looked well-maintained. The young man who checked me in was exceptionally polite and helpful. The room was clean, smelled good, and had a nice-sized fridge and microwave. Beds were comfortable, and we slept well. The complimentary breakfast was good. We had a very nice stay.
