Super 8 by Wyndham Rahway/Newark

During my three-day stay at Super 8 by Wyndham Rahway/Newark, my experience was pleasant overall. The room was clean and had a fresh scent upon arrival. Although the bedding showed wear and could be updated, and a few dark floor stains slightly impacted the visual appeal, the room itself was comfortable and well maintained. I appreciated the convenience of having a fridge and microwave. While not perfectly silent, the ambient noise with the heater running was acceptable and contributed to a comfortable stay. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. The receptionist was professional and helpful, making the entire experience easy and pleasant. Overall, my stay was comfortable, and I would consider returning.

Run, run, run AWAY from this place. The website: NO LIGHT BREAKFAST, barely coffee, no creamer, 1 cup, no lids, only powdered creamer with a broken in lid; breakfast room stocked with boxes, couldn't even sit in there. NO COFFEEMAKER in the room as advertised, BROKEN refrigerator in room even though it is advertised on website; towels had BLACK MARKS on them. I was told they were washed and couldn't help it that the black marks wouldn't come out. NO REMOTE in room, bedspreads very dirty so we threw them on the floor and went downstairs to get our own blankets and got our beach towels to dry off from the shower. The carpeting had not been vacuumed in forever, the floors had not been mopped, there was no extra toilet paper, the FIRE ALARM WAS DISADLED, Removed from the ceiling and put o

The room was super dirty, the sheets were stained and dirty, the smell smells like cigarettes and ****, everything was too dirty. I don't recommend it to anyone

Absolutely Unacceptable - A Nightmare Stay My recent 3-day stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham Rahway/Newark was an absolute disaster, especially traveling with my two young children and wife. This hotel is far from "family friendly" and needs a serious overhaul in management and basic cleanliness. I specifically reserved a non-smoking room, only to be hit with an overwhelming, stale tobacco smell upon entering. When I complained to management, they "graciously" moved us... to an even worse room! The second room reeked even more and, shockingly, had cigar butts scattered on the floor. This is completely unacceptable and a major health concern, especially with kids. The problems didn't stop there. Every single day of our stay, the parking lot reeked of marijuana. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!!! The service is HORRIBLE. Blankets are thin, heater does not work, microwave broken. They charge you extra if you want extra blankets. This room is a HOLE IN THE WALL.
