Spark by Hilton Rahway

I stayed at this hotel for two days. Regarding the hotel itself, I don’t have much to complain about. It is new and cozy. However, the front desk staff were extremely rude. Before arriving, we called to ask if it would be possible to check in a little earlier since we had been driving for almost 23 hours. We were told it would be fine. However, when we arrived, the receptionist looked at me as if to say, “What are you doing here at this hour?” When I said I wanted to check in, she was very rude and immediately said we would have to pay extra, not even allowing me to explain what we had been told on the phone. Thankfully, the manager overheard the situation and came to intervene. The next day, I went to the front desk to report that there was no hot water for a shower and asked if it wou

I cannot stress enough the level of satisfaction I feel about my stay at the Spark in Rahway. The establishment was clean, safe, accommodating, and above all, the staff were available and so super friendly. I was brought to the area unexpectedly and under tremendous stress and each and every staff member I encountered treated me with grace and integrity, even when I may have been slightly difficult. My stay at the Spark has made my time here in New Jersey tolerable. I am grateful for my experience and my choice for having stayed at this establishment. Shout out specifically to Loveleen and Yogi!!

Well, this place belongs to the Hilton group, which naturally raises expectations,although the service felt more like that of a Spark hotel! Let me start with the location ; it’s really, really far from Manhattan, so if your main reason for staying here is to visit Manhattan, you definitely have other options closer by. Swimming pool; When we arrived in the evening, we thought we’d relax and go to the pool. Well, there were no towels at all. I went to the reception to ask for one, and they gave me a tiny face towel which was full of holes! The next morning when we went again, they had placed towels, but there were two problems: first, there wasn’t even a small bin for used towels, so everyone just left theirs on the chairs, and all the seats were covered with used towels! Location to Manhattan was not bad at all. Easy 25 min into the city. . Good breakfast coffee.. Just didn't like how many Pakistani people was walking around with no shoes going in and out of 3 different rooms. Then when we came out of our room he would come out and peek out at us and move back and hide.. I almost told my wife let's go to a different hotel. But everything turned out great. We came from fl to stay and see NY and the city. Id stay there again

Positive: Cleanliness, decor, peacefulness, Negative: Breakfast quality and quantity, the hotel ran out with listed and displayed items. The hotel must meet its standard of breakfast as compared to the quality of rooms and service. The hot breakfast is a must with this Outlook.
