Super 8 by Wyndham Portage

Pretty much as expected for a low cost, pet friendly hotel Outdated but generally clean. Exception was someone else's dirty underwear found behind our bathroom door. Toilet not fully fastened down and banged a little against the wall. Beds comfortable enough although pillows are awful. Most important . . . Make sure you stay on the second floor to avoid lots of noise above your head. Every footstep sounded like stomping. No king rooms on second floor, but slept MUCH better with no one above.

It was a good room, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it could use a little more lighting. Other than that, it was a good stay. The location is excellent. It is within walking distance to Walmart, KFC, Subway, a convenient store, and a few other places you can get to.

Room was clean, customer service is A+++. Bed was comfortable & had very nice recliner in room. Shower pressure and heat was 10/10. Definitely recommend. Thank you Lady's so much!

I definitely liked how comfortable the room was. The A/C worked great. Their were some crumbs on the floor on the second bed, and also I would have loved more towels and bigger shampoo bottles, but overall it was great. I definitely loved the ease of access to a lot of things too.

Room 222 had no toilet seat, had soft spots in the floor, and smelled as if the ac unit hadn’t been cleaned since installed. Felt like I should have brought my rainbow vacuum cleaner and swept the hallway and floors in my room. Literally wore socks all night because I wasn’t sure floor was cleaned. The room also had outlet covers missing and the bathroom needed the floor cleaned around the toilet and the vent fan had 3 years of dust on it. The place is just run down. Also first hotel I’ve stayed in that doesn’t have an elevator or a credit card swiping machine. The icing on the cake was when checking in the Indian guy (dot on forehead) working the front desk told me “Most people pay cash when checking in and only stay a few hours.”
