Days Inn by Wyndham Portage

The hotel looked a little older, but it was surprisingly clean and comfortable. It’s located next to a truck stop, which made it very convenient for us. I would definitely recommend it as a stop along the highway

Nice room, very accommodating, liked having a mini refrigerator/freezer, microwave, shower was wonderful! Lamps had UBS accessibility!

We checked in and immediately back out. The lobby had an unpleasant odor. Our room had not been cleaned. Someone left their personal neck pillow between a bed and the wall. The sheets were dirty, yellow stained and covered in hair. The refrigerator did not work and had a very foul odor. Definitely do not recommend, even as a last resort.

Positive: staff was nice to me when i panicked about my car. Negative: no it met all my expectations, bathroom needs tile and tub joint refurbishment.

This hotel was great to stay at. For the price it had everything that i'd need. The rooms were very clean, my sheets smelled a little like cigarettes but nobody is supposed smoke inside the rooms anyway so I can't blame the workers too much for that. The service was great, came in at check in time and there was a worker there to help me immediately and i was in the door and in my room within 10 minutes. The location is great as I can get gas station goods as well as good food (the subway nearby has great service too). Does not deserve to be labeled as a 2 star hotel and deserves a higher rating.
