Super 8 by Wyndham Oneonta/Cooperstown

I needed a place stay for a trip to Glimmerglass in Cooperstown. I was surprised that the reviews were as positive as they were for a Super8, but for the most part, it did not disappoint. ||I know the area because I went to school in Oneonta, but had never stayed. My family visits the area with some frequencly, but our hotels of choice were just too expensive for this time around, so we went with Super8. ||Positives: |-the room was clean and comfortable and we felt safe.|- Fridge and Microwave, which are always a bonus. The shower was really nice with ample room in the bathroom sink area. They even had a shower bench for elderly or disabled, which was nice to see though not needed for our trip. |-TV worked great though I had to find the sleep timer on the set itself bc the remote didn't i

Positive: "" Negative: It was not clean, the place was not well kept inside or outside. Doors were not working, Screens were tampered with (Someone trying to break in), Carpets were buckled and filthy. We checked in and immediately checked out. Looking for refund.

We booked this hotel for a quick overnight stay during a road trip and were extremely disappointed. The parking lot was very dark, hard to navigate, and nearly full; we ended up parking along the tree line where no spots were marked. The front desk entrance was difficult to find in the dark. Our room was in terrible condition. It smelled overwhelmingly of marijuana, and all of our clothes absorbed the odor after just a few hours. The floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed or swept, the bedding had holes, and the surfaces were visibly dirty. The bathroom was the worst part—there were black curly hairs all over, the underside of the toilet seat was dirty, the doorknob was sticky with toothpaste, and the shower barely drained. It truly seemed like the room hadn’t been cleaned at all. Aft

It clean, quiet non smoking hotel. Although I could smell the vile odor of cannabis outside, the inside was fine. It is priced reasonably. The advertised breakfast is very small, coffee, wrapped muffins oatmeal, orange juice and fruit cups. If you want a more substantial breakfast you'll want to go to a restaurant. But the bed was comfortable and the price was right so I do recommend this hotel.

The only downside because my stay was in January the driveway in was difficult to get out when snow was on the ground, nothing the hotel can do about, other than that for the price the staff were excellent and room was great. Very quiet also. would definitely recommend.
