Super 8 by Wyndham Mountain Home

I expected to give this hotel a one or two star. But upon arrival, first thing to do - the bed inspection: Just toss the comforter in a drawer, that's a given. I then pulled each layer of blanket, flat sheet, fitted sheet, then the mattress pad. I inspected then shook each layer and then inspected the mattress. We checked everything with flashlights, and thoroughly. We did not observe any bedbugs or any sign of them, either. (No bites afterwards, either). One of the mattresses had a couple of stains, but not the mattress pad or sheets. We stayed 2 nights. First: this was the MOST COMFORTABLE bed in a hotel I think I've ever slept in. The Continental breakfast was sparse, as expected, but I'm not real big on breakfast anyway. I would return and stay in this hotel again if it at least mainta

Clean rooms friendly check in staff! Their breakfast area is tiny with only 2 tables right at the front desk so if your into the bigger free breakfast this may not be your place but worked out fine for me since we went out for breakfast. NO ELEVATOR so plan ahead if you have health issues/elderly and can't haul luggage upstairs. I would suggest a handicapped room just to make sure your downstairs!! Luckily there was a downstairs room available so it worked out for me!! Overall decent place for the price but a few shady looking guest hauling their belongings out of their rooms in black trash bags.

Nice clean room. Very comfortable. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay. This will be my motel of choice.

Positive: Price. It was fairly cheap and a little better than we were expecting for the price. Negative: There?s no pool. Not a huge deal but we had quite a bit do down time and our kids would have loved to swim.

Absolutely a great stay! Clean, comfortable beds friendly staff. Basic breakfast, good coffee. Great location. Don’t hesitate!
