Mockingbird Bay Resort

Our two sons joined us with their families and we stayed at the Lakehouse. It was perfect. All we had to do was bring the food, everything else was there. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of us. The Lakehouse is a unique old building and we enjoyed exploring it. Access to the playground and pool for the kids was perfect. We used the boat dock for our pontoon and had a blast on the lake. Very quiet and hospitable resort, family oriented. We would recommend and go again. Loved it!

If you’re looking for a quaint, quiet getaway in the beautiful Ozark Mountains, I would recommend Mockingbird Bay. It a bit remote, but no too remote from restaurants, shopping, or outdoor activities such as hiking, exploring caves and bluffs. Beautiful lake for boating and fishing.

We stayed here as a small group of ladies from our church as a retreat...and we sure picked the right place! The new owners, Lee and Carla, couldn't have been more accommodating and nice. The cabin was absolutely spotless, the kitchen was outfitted nicely and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom! Nice sized TV in the living room, good furniture, plenty of pillows on the beds, good water pressure throughout the cabin. The area is beautiful and we walked down to the lake, where there is a swimming and fishing dock that would be great in the summer...we saw deer every day, and the song birds were out in full force every morning..so enjoyable!|We were checked on daily to make sure we had all we needed and extra blankets were provided immediately upon request by one of our ladies (-:

The new owners of the resort are doing a great job! They are doing upgrades and keeping everything taken care of! We love this resort and have been coming for 23 years staying at least 4 weeks each year. Some years as much as 10 weeks. We are returning in a week to spend a week with grandchildren to celebrate school’s end.

First time at this resort. Super cute and super clean. The owners have been fantastic and have been very attentive to anything we could possibly need. Feels like we've been coming for years as everyone is so friendly.
