Super 8 by Wyndham Macomb

I made reservations several months before my travel. When I arrived on the day of my reservation (after a long day of flying followed by 8 hours of driving), the hotel appeared to be deserted: lights were off and no one around. This was at 8:30 pm, so not unreasonably late. There was a paper hung on the door saying there were renovations going on causing noise all day. The door was open, so I went in. There was no one around but there was a sign on the desk saying to dial zero on a phone. When I did, I got an error message. A guy came from down the hall. I asked if he worked there, but I didn't get an answer and he left. The experience was pretty typical, services were good and the staff was very helpful, the room was clean and didn't have any issues with the hotel during my month long stay.

Positive: Clean, in good repair, and quiet. Negative: The complementary breakfast ends at 9am and that is simply too early. Even just another hour would have been much preferred. Especially since checkout is 11am. Someone would have to wake up and be ready a minimum of 2.5 hours before checkout to enjoy it.

Just a great, affordable property. The front desk clerk was extremely nice, helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, spacious and well stocked. I felt safe and slept well. Hot waffles, cereal toast, yogurt juice coffee made a good breakfast

I checked in in the middle of the night after having car problems. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The motel did not smell of weed. It was impeccably cleaned. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical of hotel breakfast. 10 out of 10 recommend
