Super 8 by Wyndham Lubbock Airport

This property is new and feels clean and inviting. The beds are comfy and there is a small rack to hang a few clothing items. The shower does not have a door so it was chilly if you were not directly in the water and some water did get on the floor. There was no blow dryer, so bring your own. The location is convenient, right off the freeway, but SO close that you hear every single vehicle drive by- all night. They do offer ear plugs in the lobby which helped a little. There were some guests that partied until 4am. They were outside and inside with car alarms going off at 2am and you could hear their conversations as they walked past all night. I could have joined their conversation from inside my room due to the lack of sound proofing. They served coffee and tiny packaged muffins for brea

I had to leave due to family emergency, the manager was so awesome about helping me change my reservation, and making sure that I would be refunded for the day I didnt stay. The hotel was clean and comfy and I highly recommend staying here. Good rates, great staff, clean and comfy rooms

So... the room was very basic. Definitely get what you paid for. The shower didn't have a door on it which was so weird and had to put down towels everywhere so water wouldn't go everywhere. Also there wasn't a hair dryer which I thought was a must in hotels? Bed was comfortable at least. People were hanging out in the parking lot which was annoying because then you get paranoid. Didn't eat breakfast so not sure what it consisted of.

I stayed on The rooms are really nice and clean! Also the staff is really nice and helpful. The housekeeper that was working was very nice and helped me get in my room when my key wouldn’t work. If your looking for somewhere nice and relaxing to crash for the night I highly recommend this hotel.

so i stayed a few nights and it was great. on my return trip a day later. they canceled my reservation. they said the system did it but i live in hotels for work and know this to be a lie. i wouldnt be as upset if they had been honest about them canceling it and not lieing and saying it was an automatic cancelation. they tried to call once. but it didnt go through. someone likey asked for a room and i was the only one that hadnt showen up yet so they canceled my reservation and gave it to them. it is 11 at night and i have been on the road since 6am. if the towns is booked up city wide and you starnd someone hours from the next available hotel. be honest with them
