Super 8 by Wyndham Indianapolis South

Well they only got 1 star because I had to. I will say they were the only one at the time that would let us check in early. Of course we had to pay extra but under the circumstances it was fine. Where to begin. Staff were very non formal, the condition of the room was absolutely horrible. From cig burns in one of the beds, torn curtains, bullet hole in the wall, very stained mattresses, no tv remote after having to walk to the desk to try 4 that they gave us. Broken fixtures in the bathroom, curtains for blankets, and just an overall horrible experience. Thank god it was only for one night and we went to a better place. I am surprised Wyndham even associates its name with this definitely hurts the brand. Definitely do not recommend.

Positive: "" Negative: This hotel is pretty dirty. The carpet was gross. Holes in the walls had been patched but never painted. The outlet the microwave was plugged into didn't work. There are no coffee makers in the rooms and they don't have coffee after 10 am in the lobby.

Don’t stay here. First thing that you see is a sign that says “let front office know if anything is wrong in your hotel within an hour of you checking in” We get checked in. The smell walking down the hallway was terrible. Notice hole in ceiling. The refrigerator was plugged in and not closing. The room was musty. The phone was not plugged in and I couldn’t find a plug to plug it in. To prevent the room from getting mustier we unplugged the fridge and put a towel in the fridge to collect the water. During the night more water spilled out onto the floor. We used a towel to clean the water and the floor was so dirty it left black soot on the towels. At first the front desk person said it was from us smoking then the manager said I should not have cleaned it up and should have just

Bad customer service when I called, paid $50 for a night so you get what you pay for (somewhat). Didn’t end up showering because one of my towels had a huge yellow stain on it, not sure why that wasn’t thrown away. It gives the wrong impression even if it was cleaned and sanitized properly, one of the beds was stained and full of crumbs underneath two sheets that were placed on top to ‘hide it’. Was given 2 sheets with a super thin curtain like blanket on top. Unfortunately was too tired to take any photos

The staff was friendly as always, the room was clean and mostly quiet. It does take a few business days to get your deposit back, and you only get 95, which they don't tell you up front but is likely somewhere in the fine print. Overall, a nice place to sleep when I pick up my daughter from college.
