Super 8 by Wyndham Green River

As a frequent user of Super 8 motels, I found this location to be adequate. Room was clean , however the carpet looked old and while I personally didn’t smell anything, my wife said it had a musky odor. We had a room with 3 beds and the grandkids always enjoy a bed to them selves. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as the offerings were very limited. A nice waffle maker sure would have been nice and I know the grandkids would agree. Parking was more than adequate and if I had one complaint it would be that the doors to gain entry from the outside were always unlocked and did not require a card for access. Quiet and comfortable with a couple of caveats; the carpet looks about 50 years old and it's hard to tell old from dirty, the heater was hard to regulate to a temperature that wasn't either icy or the face of the sun, and when I tried to dry my hair with a hairdryer, the smoke detector right over my head kept going off from the heat (the ceiling was pretty low). Other than that, the internet worked well, there was great water pressure and plenty of hot water, and I slept well.

Positive: Clean, comfy bed and pillows, hot shower water with great pressure. The price was okay for an overnight stay passing through town. Negative: Not the hotel staffs fault, but when a place is pretty friendly, you might expect dog barking way too early in the morning. Breakfast (if you can call grab n go breakfast) was over before we got out there.

We appreciated them getting the pool open for us when they saw the eager kiddos coming in with me. 🎈Experience: Let’s be clear, this is no 5 star resort, nor is that what it’s aiming to be. It’s a Super 8 hotel, with rooms around $60 a night, and it did a great job at being just that. The pool was just the right size for 2 parents and three kids, though it would have been cramped if there were any more humans in there.
