First Choice Inn at the Swell

Our first time here, and everything was wonderful! The staff were all friendly, professional and kind. The room was clean, great amenities and my only negative is that the room we were in is directly across from the elevator and directly above the main lobby entrance, so it was a bit challenging to sleep restfully with the late check-ins. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable. Otherwise, the breakfast was great and though we did not happen to bring our swimsuits, we looked in and saw that the pool and hot tub looked good and clean. Looking forward to staying here again. Thank you for a truly wonderful experience.

Great location to I-70, Very clean and spacious rooms and the customer service was outstanding!! We travel with our dogs and they are very accommodating to pets. The property is clean and it backs up to a park which is very convenient for dog walking. We stayed here for a night on the way to Las Vegas and would stay here again.

Does this hotel have a good bed, a clean room, a bathroom, and what you’d expect in this level of hotel? Yes. Pet friendly? Yes which is awesome. But this place had some annoyances that just kept adding up… starting with check in. We got there at 2pm an hour before the normal 3pm check in, 99% of the time this is never an issue (have stayed at hundreds of hotels over the years). The guy at the desk had a bunch of smart comments about us trying to check in at 2, the craziest part is that we were the ONLY car in the parking lot. Had to get our keys redone multiple times because they stopped working. The minifridge froze and ruined half of our food. And the staff (minus one younger kid) was just unpleasant. Hot tub was just a bleach pool and you can only use it on request and it takes 3 hours

This place gave us a lovely break from our road trip. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and safe it felt. Despite being right off the highway, our room was very quiet. We and our dog loved the comfy king bed and slept well. The decor inside was humble, but we woke up to an amazing sunset view complete with cows. Thanks for a nice and easy stay.
