Green River KOA Journey

Best bathrooms yet! Amazing. Super clean laundry room and pristine campground. We came on a Sunday and the office was closed so figuring out which spot was ours was a bit challenging. It was off-season so it wasn’t a problem. This is a very convenient location when traveling between the Big 5. The train is loud but that’s why we have earplugs! The town of Green River is old but cute and looks like it’s making a comeback.Thanks for the great stay. We see you next time.

My family and I always look forward to our trips to Green River staying at the KOA Journey! Heidi and John run this place and they do a fantastic job! Clean sites, cozy cabins, friendly staff and fun amenities! What else could you ask for?! My kids love the pool and park, and we love the enclosed dog area for our pup to run and play. 5 stars truly isn’t enough to give this place! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!|Thank you for all you do, KOA Journey!! You always help us make memories that will last a lifetime!!

The camp hosts were so kind and accommodating. This was just a pit stop for us but they made it so warm and welcoming and really went above and beyond. The recently put in a new bath house which was extremely nice and clean. The astroturf on the site was a pleasant surprise and you could really tell the time and energy the camp hosts put into it. The woman in the office though was extremely rude to my husband. When he asked about why our campsite was missing a picnic table he was told the site didn’t get one, which was a lie. The camp hosts went above and beyond and once they get rid of their problems this will be such a perfect stop on the road.

This place is great! We stayed here as we were passing through and Heidi was so nice and accommodating. We just happened to be here over the Melon festival which was fun and Heidi gave us some recommendations which were amazing. Brand new bathrooms and showers which were great. Highly recommend Green River KOA.

My recent stay at the Green River KOA was unfortunately far below expectations. I understand this is the low season, but closing all showers in both the men’s and women’s facilities created a very poor experience. Being forced to walk across the entire park in the dark to a single available shower was unreasonable and did not reflect the standard KOA promotes. To add to the frustration, the only shower that was open had minimal capacity, and every bathroom posted signs prohibiting the use of hair dryers. For travelers who rely on basic amenities, this felt unwelcoming and left the impression of a property operating below acceptable standards. If these limitations are part of the seasonal model, they should be clearly disclosed on the website so guests can plan accordingly. As it stands,
