Holiday Inn Express & Suites ​green River​ by IHG

I travel frequently to small towns and out-of-the-way places, which means I stay at a dozen or so Holiday Inn Express properties every year. I’ve seen the good and the bad. The relatively new Holiday Inn Express in Green River, Utah — about four years old — is without question the best Holiday Inn Express I’ve stayed at in the United States.||||Here’s why:||||-- Everything still feels new.||-- The hotel is impeccably clean with one exception (more on that later).||-- Free laundry facilities for guests — a rarity and a huge plus.||-- In addition to the standard pool, there’s a sauna and hot tub.||-- The gym is spacious, modern and well-equipped.||-- A terrace with fire pits overlooks the Book Cliffs, creating an unexpectedly wonderful setting.||-- Elite status with IHG is recognized properl

Great stop right off the freeway. Well lit parking lot. Room was spotless. The bed was AMAZING. Nice breakfast buffet. Would definitely stay here again when traveling through Utah.

Lovely hotel. Clean and quiet. Breakfast was great other than the eggs weren’t the best. We definitely didn’t leave hungry though. The staff were amazing! Especially Ryder! Friendly and informative! Wish I’d taken more photos, but enjoyed the heart rock!

Completely shocked by how nice this hotel is. Beds are super comfortable. Pool is heated and clean. Hot tub is huge and was 101 degrees. Breakfast was really good. Couch is comfortable. They even put a night light in the bathroom that is just right. I cannot find anything negative to say.

We were forced to find a place to stay last minute after an intense freak storm rolled in. We called and booked over the phone with no problems. Checkin was smooth and they put us on the floor with the laundry without us asking but just because we inquired. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Tvs were easy to connect to. Continental breakfast was everything you expect from a off the beaten path hotel meant for a night passing through. Nothing to write home about, your usual toast, instant eggs, sausage and oatmeal.
