Super 8 by Wyndham Franklin Hwy 31

Arrived late at 10:15 pm. Was given a key to the 1st of 3 rooms. 1st room on bottom floor room I believe was 114 had bugs above the door casing that fell on me as we entered. Immediately went back to front desk to ask for another room. Room 203 was 2cnd room given a key to. Walked in the door the light switch on the wall did not work. My husband entered to turn on a nother light and as I walked in with the light on there were bugs behind the front curtain. We returned again to the front desk. The man working had the nerve to ask us if we had been drinking. Which was a definite NO. We were traveling and bugs are bugs. We offered to show him he refused our request. He personally went to room 203 and was shown the bugs im the second room. So he takes us to the 3rd room room 204. We go in no

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Ice cold AC. Hot water. Comfy beds. Tv, microwave, fridge, and everything else worked how they should. Room was clean. Very good place to stay for the price, would come back.

Positive: Price Negative: Dirty room. Lots of big water bugs in the bathroom. Filthy baseboards. Dusty headboards. It was just dirty. Bed clothes stained. It was really bad. I was just too tired to go elsewhere or I would have left

Not a business of their word. They advertised a low nightly rate in a tourist magazine I picked up at the KY visitor center. They wouldn’t honor it when I showed up. They said it was because of a holiday weekend and a horse racing night and they expected to be full. No way it was half full. So call first to see what your rate will be. |It has been renovated. So room was nice but don’t appreciate being misled on the price.

It's a good stay for the price. The bed and pillows are wonderful. We slept like logs. It was quiet. The room had no objectionable smells and it was quite clean. Servers and front desk person were pleasant and friendly.
