Super 8 by Wyndham Fairview Heights-St. Louis

The front desk lady seem very nice and polite, but a little pet peeve of mine is if you have a laundry area that takes quarters I shouldn't have to leave the property to get quarters. I had reserved a king bed studio suite and was put in a basic king bed room. As soon as I walked in the room there was a big hole in the carpet. Also noticed the fridge wasn't shutting all the way and there was a dead stink bug inside the fridge. Also window and window seal was filthy

No iron as advertised. No ironing board as advertised. No coffee maker or coffee in room as advertised. Side door by room won’t open with room key - they don’t have any batteries to make it work. Nothing but excuses. Stay clear of this place. Desk person knows nothing. Just hang around in morning and I can try to find a manager. I expect the same deer in the headlights and a “I don’t know, I’m just the manager.” ||Wyndham should be ashamed. Never again.

Worst service i have ever had. Last night we come in to check in for our hotel, the lady is on the phone laughing and talking about drama, wont listen to us, just throws a key up on the desk and doesnt tell us what room or have any form of communication with us. So we walk around trying to find our room and when we get there, theres no tissues, not enough towels, shower is covered in dry boogers and hair. We wake up the next morning, i go down for breakfast, why is breakfast over at 9a.m?!?!?! That is crazy. I get down tbere at 9 a.m on the dot. And as sbe is putting up the food, i ask her if breakfast is over. And she turns to me, says yes, and keeps putting bagels in the box. Doesnt even offer me a bagel or a piece of bread after spending this much money and this crappy hotel. Worst ser

Location is great but that’s about it. The staff is horrible, disrespectful, rude and just acted like I was a bother while I was checking in. She was on her personal phone and wouldn't pause the call long enough to check me. in The rooms were kinda dirty you could tell they don’t vacuum very well and there were dried boogers on the shower wall. Blood stains on the pillow cases and sheets. Checked for bugs but didn’t find any. Would not recommend staying here.
