Holiday Inn St. Louis-Fairview Heights by IHG

I stayed only one night and was disappointed. The rooms were nice but the lady bugs invading the bathroom was a bother. They were out of towels and even complimentary items. Soap dispensers were empty and even ordering food they were out of things and still tried to charge me the same price without offering anything to substitute the missing items or make up the price. The customer service was bland except the cook. He came out and settled everything and that was well appreciated. The cook may be the only pro at this location.

I want to leave an excellent reference for Janet. She was a very attentive, friendly and professional waitress at all times. His service was impeccable, always aware of every detail and with a very cordial attitude. In addition, the food was delicious, everything perfectly prepared. Without a doubt, it made our experience wonderful. Totally recommended!

This review is a follow up from the previous one regarding the incompetent manager. My boyfriend and I have found another Holiday Inn located in Fairview. The staff are extremely pleasant and the hotel is 100% cleaner. The lobby has a warm and sophisticated opening with a bar and room service. For anyone is traveling and are of color, I highly recommend the location in Fairview. Holiday Inn Express in O’Fallon has low quality staff and could be a little less ignorant.

Positive: The hotel room was nice and clean. Negative: The hotel was under construction, the elevators needed to be mopped. The morning of check out the shower kept cutting off. Had to dry off with soap still on my body. That was the only thing that I felt was unsatisfactory. Everything else was good.

This is a fantastic property. Recent remodel is exceptionally well done. Most importantly, though their staff is incredibly friendly. Kevin, who was working the front desk, did an amazing job. From someone who travels quite a lot, thank you very much for the great hospitality.
