Super 8 by Wyndham Deerfield/Northbrook

DO NOT STAY HERE! This is the most disgusting hotel I’ve seen in my entire life. We booked a room here as this hotel appeared on booking.com as pet friendly and had decent reviews. The reviews must all be fake because this place was horrifying. You couldn’t pay me to stay here. We requested a room on the ground floor near our car. The hotel was very empty as evidenced by all of the open curtains in the room. They instead gave us the room on the top floor, furthest from the front desk and closest to the loud freeway. Louder than the freeway was the party happening immediately next door. We walked past and heard loud guitars and drums. There were beer cans and garbage all around the door to that room, and drunk people outside smoking. Assuming the party might end, we left for a few hours

The refrigerator was not clean. The microwave still had some food on. The chair seat was torn. No service while we were there. Worst was we were locked out on October 18th even though we were supposed to check out on October 19th ( we made 3 nights reservation). Everything should have been better. It was not worth our money staying in that hotel.

It meets a need. Not fancy, sub $100 rooms, located right off of I94. Rooms are clean, there is a refrigerator and microwave. Also a small desk. You get what you pay for, smaller, thinner towels/washcloths. Plain sheets. Heat and a/v work. Comes with soap and shampoo. Vent in shower was loud, but not too annoying. Coffee and Danish for breakfast. Room has wifi

I will never stay here again, even if you paid me. Let's just say the room was infested with cockroaches. When I addressed the staff, I was told they were booked out and that I couldn't be moved. Totally unacceptable, I ask about a refund and was told that only one night would be provided.... BS. I'll get that refund voluntary or involuntary

Room was disgusting feeling to me. Black mold in the bathroom and a huge crack on the ceiling in the bathroom too. Lights were non very luminescent and Everytime we used the microwave the light next to it would flicker on and off. Elevator was making off noises as well and I chose to use the stairs cause I was afraid it would break. There's really nothing around except a few stores that didn't interest us. Place used to be a Red Roof Inn and I think they didn't fix a damn thing from that place cause the whole motel had a dirty and dingy vibe with very sheisty looking characters around. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
