Residence Inn by Marriott Chicago Deerfield

This Residence Inn has outstanding staff. They were very accommodating, efficient, patient, kind. Just overall very good at their job. They should train other hotel staff. The two bedroom suite was great, plenty of room, for 4 adults and a toddler. Everyone slept well. It was nice to have a functional kitchen and living room. The laundry was very nice, so clean. Breakfast area is large, didn't feel like you were on top of everyone there and nice selection of food. The front desk staff was outstanding and accommodating to our every need.

I loved everything about this place. The privacy, the service, and the location. The outside entrance makes it look and feel so much less like a hotel and more like an apartment. I had a wonderful stay there!

Could not be happier with my experience here. The manager has went above and beyond and I greatly appreciate it. The room is clean, very nice, and was at an affordable rate. They fully earned the 5 ⭐️ review

Really surprised to see this place has an average of four star reviews. ||I spent one night here in November and checked out early because it just wasn’t up to par. ||I travel often for business and am used to Marriott Courtyards through Hyatt Regency’s, all in same price range as this place. ||For some reason, this trip, most of my other options were full and I figured this couldn’t be too bad. ||The rooms are something from 25 years ago. Old carpets, furniture, drapery, bedding, TV, etc. I felt like I stepped in to some lodge in Northern Wisconsin (no offense Northern Wisconsin). ||I was solo but “upgraded” to a two room suite. Nice gesture I suppose but actually it just made it twice as depressing. Double the amount of old stuff. The living room area consisted of an old couch facing a w

This was the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in! When I mentioned this to the front desk, they informed me that the hotel received a perfect cleanliness score on their last audit with Marriott. So impressed by the kindness of the team, and the location was fabulous. Very centrally located yet safe and tucked away. Highly recommend!
