Super 8 by Wyndham Carrizo Springs

They cheat their guests by changing prices. The online price was listed at $142. I was driving, so I called to book. The lady confirmed the price. I booked 3 rooms. My crew arrived before me. I arrived later in the night. The following morning I was given receipts showing the room price at $199. This is not what was advertised online or what I was told on the phone. Aside from this theft, the hot water barely works and and the sink faucet was not secured to the counter top. The sink and faucet were also dirty. I would never stay here again.

Rooms very clean and extra towels. Service was good greeting was good. Location no stores with 2 mile but not bad. But breakfast at 3am works out great for us construction and oilfield works. 6am well that too late. I just didn't like eggs mix with cheese. But watch out for that coffee n can wake the dead. This hotel has a price of $142 on their Google profile. But, it's a "Bait & Switch". I called to book 3 rooms. I arrived late at night after a 16+ hour work day. The following morning, I retrieved my receipts and was shocked to learn that they had charged me $199, plus taxes. They were unwilling to honor the $142 price.

There is semi truck parking here, either on the highway side or next to the hotel. I recommend parking on the road side. If you book directly, you can get better pricing, access to a home cooked meal for breakfast and lunch, Monday through Friday. There isn't much around close by, but this is a good place to rest.

The room was decent pillows are very small almost like throw pillows for a sofa. Breakfast is way too early 3am to 8am which we did not get to try. Vending machines are far away on the side of the building which I would not advise anyone to go to at nights.
