Thank you for the emails with our final account for three rooms over three nights at Graystone Lodge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family after Christmas. There are many positives about the hotel. I also want to share some constructive client feedback that may help Graystone Lodge to improve in the future: Email connectivity kept dropping and reconnecting after some time in our bedroom # 436. Not sure if this was a local wifi transmitter or central wifi system issue. The in room heating / air con is quite loud when operating. And the units blow cold air first each time the heating comes on. Not great for guests on both counts. Breakfast area was overcrowded in the morning and guests had difficulty getting a table so many were sitting in the lounge areas and outside the pool ro

The front desk staff and the breakfast servers were all extremely friendly. The breakfast team kept everything well stocked, and the variety of breakfast options was excellent. The room was clean, and they provided plenty of towels, which was very convenient. Everything was great—except for the TV not working. Overall, I had a really good stay.

Positive: Nothing Negative: The room smelled like an ashtray... and it felt like I walked into 1982

No elevator. Stayed on the 3rd floor. Curtains were shifted 2inches to the right so it doesn’t cover the whole window. The AC squeaks. The bath tub faucet doesn’t completely “turn off” while the shower portion is in use. One of the lamps don’t turn on. Small chunk missing from ceiling.

The rooms were lovely. Staff very good. The breakfast room was far too small not enough tables and food running out and not being replaced quickly. At one point there was no bread and the breakfast lady said they were waiting for it to be delivered and this was 9am. The hotel is aware how many people are in that hotel at a time and should have been supplied and prepared to service that amount of guests for breakfast. Also an overflow room should be available for busy times. This to me is bad planning.
