Baymont by Wyndham Boone

My hotel room was clean. Did have micro/fridge. I drove there with a motor coach for 6 hours taking a great woman's college volleyball team. There was no place to park the bus. The morning we were leaving I ask for a late check-out since we would be traveling late after 2 games. "No, if I stayed after 11:30 I would be charged for another day." I won't be back.

The hotel is older and could use some updating. We had 2 rooms and both smelled musty as you entered them. The double beds were comfortable but just very small for a couple to comfortably sleep. Breakfast options the next morning were very limited. We didn't use the pool area but overall I don't think this hotel was worth the price we paid. If I were to stay in Boone again it would not be at this hotel.

Positive: Beds were very cozy Negative: The person who checked us in was not friendly and could not explain why we needed to give credit cards although we prepaid our room.For the most part our experience was very good except for the check in person and a dirty bathtub mat

Location was great - which is why we booked the hotel, but that’s about the only good thing we have to say about our stay there. At check in, was told my toddlers wouldn’t be able to sleep in our bed which is a WILD thing to try and impose - where are they supposed to sleep? The floor? Room keys stopped working almost immediately making us have to get new keys over and over. The pool? Hardly heated, has algae and floating spiders in it. One of the night staff was sleeping at the front desk when we walked in to get new keys cards, and she literally rubbed them on her arm skin over and over to try and get them to work - it was not only bizarre and uncomfortable to watch, but unsanitary. The room itself wasn’t bad either - bathtub leaked/dripped entire time but otherwise was fine. Won’t

Positive: The housekeepers was fantastic, things was clean. Negative: The fact it was listed as breakfast was included. The selection was poor and no waffles.
