Super 8 by Wyndham Baker City

This location was the best Super 8 we've stayed while on our road trip over the past 6 weeks. Lexey, the desk attendant was very personable and professional. She made sure our accommodations were what we needed while traveling with a pet. She was great! Our room was just the same. Clean and comfortable. It actually exceeded our expectations for a Super 8 hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. I would also like to recommend a place for steak dinner, Eagle Cap Grill in downtown Baker City. They grill steak to order. I ordered a steak salad and my steak was perfectly flame grilled to medium rare. The salad was fresh and accompanied by sautéed mushrooms and onions, and blue cheese. It was sooooo good! Best dinner I've had on the road.

All 3 ladies, I interacted with at the front desk were nice. The beds were comfortable (a must for me) and the towels were quality. Shower pressure was nice as well as the breakfast. Biscuits were soft (THANK YOU) & gravy was better than at some of the more expensive places I have stayed. Very nice touch was the cut up strawberries and powered sugar for the waffles. Loved it and Thank You!!! Yes there is a Love's Truck stop next door, but I did not hear it. Arby's is next door as well. You can get either Arby's or shop in the Love's to get something to eat for dinner. For those who complained, obviously, they complain about everything in their life. For a Super 8 hotel, I would stay here again.

Positive: Clean room, convenient to highway, good water pressure, decent breakfast with fruit, eggs, muffins... Negative: Hallways/stairs are very dirty; no elevator; cops hanging out in stairway in the morning was a bit creepy.

There was so many convenient things about this place... its right next to a Loves gas station, close to the freeway but super quiet, has so much well light parking, and a cute lill continental breakfast. The pool was closed when we got there but damn was it clean... They also had ice water and HOT coffee ☕️ even at like 1 am. We'd would not only recommend you stay but we would stay again.

The place was super clean. Plus you actually get a full breakfast. Not just toast and cereal. Plus they have coffee in the lobby, that they keep fresh. The employee that was on duty the night I stayed was the only worker that night and she was very nice to all the guests and still was able to keep the coffee fresh with a smile 😃 always.
