Super 8 by Wyndham Ashland

Located on the main strip in Ashland. Service was amazing and morning breakfast was excellent with typical breakfast items like eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, etc. not much parking for trucks with trailers. Overall recommend.

Rooms are clean but a bit "tired". Staff was friendly and very accommodating of my service dog and I placing us near an exit door to easily get outside for potty time. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was delicious! This does seem to be a more industrial worker hotel so people are up and leaving fairly early in the morning so be prepared for parking lot engine idle noise starting around 5am.

Positive: Nothing Negative: I was inconvenienced the entire time I was there and the little girl that was working the front desk was managers daughter she was very rude and cocky rolling her eyes and they messMy days then she comes to my room and the little girl kicks me very pissed

We arrived in Ashland on a Thursday before Applefest in Bayfield. We had not known this ahead of our plans on a cycle trip. We were referred to Super 8 by the Best Western staff (our first choice). It was booked except for one room and the building was also under construction for remodeling directly behind the reception desk and closing the top deck level overlooking the water. We had been at Super 8 years ago and were pleased to see the room we were in had been updated. We were short a bath towel and bar soap but that was remedied. The breakfast was hot and well staffed. We were disappointed that we did not have use of the "SMART" TV as we first lost a signal which was reconnected by desk staff but then he was gone in a flash. No time for instructions? For a Super 8 it was decent. It was clean and affordable. The check in guy was friendly. The evening crew didn't even leave their chairs when we had questions about extra cups for our rooms. Told us to grab our own by the public coffee. Show some interest.
