Super 8 by Wyndham Anaheim/Disneyland Drive

This hotel is not maintained well. For being part of a multi billion dollar hotel group, they need to spend the money on renovations and not be the equivalent of a slum lord. The rooms are not as advertised. The bathtub is peeling, shower head needs replacing, paint is lifting from lack of proper ventilation, the flooring is lifting and will catch your sock or foot on the lifted flooring. They advertise breakfast being served from 7-10am but provide 1 granola bar per person at check-in. The checking lobby and what appears to be a breakfast area smells damp just like the rooms. There is not enough parking for guests so be prepared to be blocked in or have to move your vehicle. The towels are so cheap you will need two to dry off. Super close to Disney. Within walking distance so no need to find parking in the park. Free parking. The check in was smooth and the girl that helped us was very kind and helpful! Rooms were nice and the hot tub was a nice amenity to use after a long day at Disney! Highly recommend!

The room floors were laminate not carpet. I walked in my socks for les than 20 steps and my white socks got black. Then when I tried to shower in morning the shower wouldn't turn on and when I tried to turn the shower nob on the nob fell off. When I complained in the morning at 7 a.m. the desk clerk said he'll have maintenance fix it after 11 when he comes in. I told them I want it made right with a discount because I wouldn't be back in the room until the evening because I would be at Disneyland all day. So I felt dirty all day without my morning shower. Plus for breakfast they only had coffee and juice nothing else. Plus they didn't give me any discount for the shower issue. Won't be staying there again.

The staff were very friendly. I took the Amtrak train and arrived at the hotel in the morning. I was able to check in around 10 a.m. and felt so happy. The hotel is located close to Disneyland. The room was clean and spacious, with a soft bed and great amenities. Overall, it was a really pleasant stay.

Great staff, clean rooms with enough space to move around, nice pool & sauna. Would be nice to have newer and/or thicker towels but seems to be common with many hotels. The location is easy to get to/right off the freeway. It's perfect for those who want to walk to the trams to get to the theme parks and/or Downtown Disney, enabling you to leave the car at the hotel. Only complaint (hence the 4 stars for service) is what others have mentioned - the "breakfast item" offered is a couple of store bought granola bars (which are not healthy). IMO, better to not advertise that breakfast is available.
