Sunset Key Cottages

This place was incredible and the reviews don’t do it justice. The staff was so kind and knowledgeable. The entire island and set up is gorgeous. The ferry ride is a fun feature as well that makes it feel extra fun and exclusive. You won’t be disappointed.

My wife wanted to celebrate her birthday in Key West, but I’m not too enamored with crowded bars or traffic. I was hesitant to go until she mentioned a private island resort with a free shuttle to Key West, since this presented the best of both worlds.||I had not been to Key West previously, but it appeared to be exactly as I pictured it. But as soon as we took the ferry to Sunset Key, my worries disappeared. When we disembarked, there was a welcome sign for us and the staff was incredibly fun and friendly. Everyone, from|the front desk to the dining room/bartenders to the housekeeping team were top-notch and made our experience special. ||The rooms were large and very clean. Sunset Key has been on our bucket list for a while, and the resort did not disappoint!|Our group of eight visited over the Thanksgiving holiday. The grounds are well manicured, and cottages are a wonderful change from a hotel room.|But where this resort distinguishes itself from others, we've visited is the level of service. We have never experienced such dedication to service from the staff that truly made this vacation unbelievable.|Naill at the concierge office was outstanding. He provided|us with dinner reservation and a sunset cruise. |Thomas at Flippers pool bar was pleasant and always greeted us with a smile. |Aaron, our server at latitudes, was a pleasure to talk to as well as a great server.

The room was very clean and full with amenities. |Team members: outstanding. They made us feel like home. This was our third time visiting Sunset Key, and it truly feels like coming home. From the moment you get on the boat, the stress just melts away. The cottages are charming and so comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. We love starting our mornings with the breakfast basket left on the porch and then heading down to the beach, which is just gorgeous. The service is always impeccable—everyone is so friendly and goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. We had dinner at Latitudes and it was, as always, incredible. It's expensive, yes, but the experience of having a private island oasis so close to everything in Key West is worth every penny. We're already counting down the days until we can return.
