Sunrise Motel

If you’re looking for a low-cost place to rest your head, we would recommend the Sunrise Motel. Located just a mile from the Deepwell, it’s miles above in quality, service, and atmosphere. The staff are friendly, and it’s a comfortable, welcoming place to stay.

Was in town overnight for a funeral and just wanted a clean quiet place to park myself for the night. This is one of those older roadside motels - no frills but extremely clean. The bathroom was absolutely spotless. Bed was comfortable, pillows very firm, microwave, tv and two seater table. The couple that own it were pleasant and hospitable. I would definitely stay here again.

It pains me to have to write this review. I prefer to focus on the positive aspects of my experiences. But this place has some major issues. Let's start with the positives: the family that owns this place was very warm and welcoming. The sheets and pillow cases were clean. Check-in and check-out was easy. Unfortunately, there were also some glaring issues. Our room smelled strongly of mold and mildew. The air conditioner would periodically make a loud banging sound which made it hard to sleep. The chairs in the room had dust and dead bugs accumulating between the cushions. The bathroom had an ant colony living in the sink. Another room at the property had a broken window. Lastly the vending/ice machine room was tough. All the snacks packets in the vending machine were empty, with small h

As always, such a pleasure to have a place to go when you need to get away.. not to mention the entire family who are running Sunrise are so friendly and they always are so happy to hear that I'm headed their way! It's a nice friendly private and reasonable price.

Get a room at the Parkview Hotel. It's beautiful and affordable. The owners are super friendly. You can walk to everything in town, including a grocery store. There is also a restaurant and a bar in the hotel. Sitting on the balcony across from.the river is absolutely intoxicating..I'd stay here a month if I could.
