Belva Lockwood Inn

The Belva Lockwood Inn is an absolute gem. I have stayed three times and will keep coming back whenever I am on the area. The house is filled with life and history and new discoveries around every corner. I have stayed in the Knickerbocker and Tioga rooms. They are both lovely, but the decor of the Knickerbocker is my favorite. The breakfast is phenomenal and will be dropped right outside your door at precisely the hour you request. The hosts, Brie amd Matt, are unmatched in hospitality and will tidy the room regularly. And for what they're offering, the rate is honestly a steal. Easy walk to downtown Owego with shops, restaurants, bars, and breweries, but still quiet at the Inn. It's also an easy walk to an EV charger if needed. The home is lovely and well decorated. My bed was very comfortable! The owner was quick to respond to my needs. The bar, made from an old piano, is well stocked. But the best part was the breakfast, made on premises and delivered outside my room at my desired time. What a treat to get a delicious breakfast and coffee without leaving my room. I look forward to staying again.
