Where do I begin?? Didn’t get code for reservation so had to contact them. The two men can be rude. It’s pretty scary. Homeless people in the hallway, window cracked on one door, people leave the doors open. You can tell it’s a live in motel. One lady got the lock code for the wrong room and she walked in on someone. I was def not hoping it happened to us in our room as I have a concealed carry. Stairwells are scary. Room not really that clean so had to clean it. Fridge and microwave were nice. More of a live in place. Otherwise the room wasnt clean and can walk to all places on main road. I went to Aldi and Taco Bell. When I left for the day, I took my valuables in case they gave the code to someone else for the room. Def won’t stay again. I’ll go to Vestal. WiFi password didn’t work. No

I had paid in advance some months ahead through expedia.||Morning of reservation I received email asking me for ID and phone number as checkin was 'remote' and I would receive a code prior to check in time. This I duly provided and it was acknowledged. ||No further communication was received. So I stayed in my car outside for an hour in below freezing temperatures waiting for solution that did not materialise. ||In the end I checked into Hampton Inn next door where a pleasant reservations clerk sorted me out. ||I must urge anyone interested to avoid this disreputable property for obvious reasons. It is perhaps worth mentioning that it appears very run down and unprepossessing from the outside.

The place had good ratings on Expedia so my husband booked it. It has no one to check in; just a code for the entry door and another code to enter the room. Upon entry, it was freezing cold. There was a room refrigerator, a microwave and electricity. There was a missing ceiling tile in the clothing nook with exposed ductwork and wiring. The ceiling light fixture in the bathroom was missing its cover and a light bulb and the light fixture over the bathroom sink was missing a light bulb. The toilet paper holder was broken. After 2 hours of running the heater in the room at 80 degrees, we had to go to bed with our ski clothes on. This place is below subpar. Interesting procedure. There's no lobby or front desk. You might expect an email or some other correspondence prior to arrival, but receiving none I called to check in. The fellow answering though quite helpful had difficulty locating my pre-paid American Express reservation. After about 20 minutes, he provided outer door access code, room number, and room access code. Door locks have touch combo that need a wakeup touch then code and speak foreign language response. My first room assignment door lock did not work. Kiteville's phone agent provided another room and combo that worked fine. My room was clean and spacious, furniture worn but functional. This is a Motel where homeless people need to stay unfortunately 😞 I observed a young man with his back pack quickly follow behind me as I entered my code to get in. I don’t think the door locked? 1/2 hr later I heard a noise at my door. Opened my door it was the same kid with ice cubes in his hands that fell at my door.” Sorry the cubes are cold” I slammed my door shut! The room was better than staying at my mother’s! BUT definitely subpar for safety! I will never book again!
