Sunridge Retreat in Shenandoah Woods

It was really getaway place. Our family's had been there 4 times.huge house and well maintained. lot s of bunk beds. full furnished open kithchen. fanastic view from Kithen window, Kids enjoyed game room and hot tubs . very refrshing . We have high speed internet now . they upgraded to Starlink. I was able to work from there few days. And house was as it shown in the pic's. Our favorite spot

This is a big house with a game room, backyard firepit and jacuzzi, many rooms but not well maintained. We were promised highspeed internet as we were a party of 10 planning to work remote for a week and enjoy in the evenings. But the internet connection was a low baller with 1mps.. the loweset speed in the USA i could ever see, all you can do is check email and send texts which would deliver later. We had a bad experience as unable to work, and amongst all this, the HVAC stopped working with 95° outside. Had to vacate the house the second day. :( Just so anyone is planning to book this house, it works great if you want to stay away from the world. Doesnt work for folks who need internet/ cell phone reception. Also there was charcoal grill provided which was a basic walmart small charcoal

Fantastic stay every time we're there. Host is responsive if there are any additional needs. Beautiful view and a great place to get away for the weekend.
