Christopher's Riverfront Cabins

Awesome stay! The cottage had everything we needed! It was very clean and well maintained! The hot tub and sunroom face the water at the Jive which is a plus. Definitely would come back!

The setting of "The Jive" is absolutely beautiful, right on the river, with wildlife and flora all around. We did some fishing and bird watching. The hot tub was a plus. The cabin was lovely, but some of the furnishings (sofas, mattress, towels) were a bit run down and could use some updating -- especially given the nightly rate ($250). We did enjoy a couple games of Foosball, though!

Enjoyed our stay (2 couples) at Christopher's Riverside Cabin (Jive). Beautiful access to the Shenandoah river, hot tub and an evening bonfire. Every thing we needed to enjoy the weekend was there and the cabin was clean and comfortable. Only downside was the adorable spiral staircase. Attractive feature but tricky for older folks to maneuver. Great value, worth the trip! Do yourself a favor and book a stay!

Booked the Jive for 3 nights for our 34th anniversary. Hot tub , river, beautiful cabin. Although the hot tub was down when we arrived we really didn't mind. Peaceful, amd the mountain views, ahh.. walked round trip 5 miles out to Castle vineyard, visited Wisteria vineyard, tried some fishing, every mor and evening campfires, steak on the grill.painted a rock for the rock garden wall lol Perfect weekend. WE LOVED THIS CABIN and will be back. Thanks Gene for stopping by and keeping in touch on the hot tub. It was very nice to meet you. You have beautiful cabins.

We have been to Christopher's Cabin twice now, and love it. The only things I would like to see is a washer and dryer, and to replace the futon in the loft with another day bed. The river view and accessibility are beyond amazing.
